You should not live your life in fear without your spleen, but it is prudent to try to avoid routine infections if possible. You should get whatever vaccines your primary care doctor recommends, in addition. Good luck.

Hi my crp was 72 and 133 respectively.My spleen and lymphnodes are enlarged.Doctors are telling its infection.Please tell me if something wrong?
Had CT of pelvis &abdomen- doc said all nml- report says mild enlarged spleen 13cm. She said she isn't concerned - CMP,- nml - is 13cm bad?
