A member asked:

Does using topical corticosteroids on nose for years cause permanent nose swelling? can topical corticosteroids cause permanent face swelling?

Nasal swelling can occur from inflammation and vascular disturbance. Chronic use of topical corticosteroids can cause atrophy and thinning of the skin but is not a cause of swelling. You should limit the use of this product and seek a dermatologist if you have a chronic problem in the facial skin.

Would be very rare unless using high dose of a potent steroid. Discuss with your Dr.
