A member asked:

Can an ekg reading of 101 be something very serious?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe/not. This rate is well within the normal range of heart rates found in nervous patients. Proper interpretation would require context of why the tracing was obtained and the overall patient condition. It might mean something worrisome, but without more information to work with it is just a common rapid rate.
