A member asked:

Can two ekgs in two different years be different? i had the ekgs during my annual physical in two different years- one reading was nsr and the other was inferior st/t waves changes, nsr - i have no symptoms at all- should i be concerned?

Second opinion: ST/T wave changes warrant further evaluation. You heart health has apparently changed since the first EKG. Start with you primary care provider to ascertain if you need to see a cardiologist. Wish you good health!

EKG DIFFERENT: EKGs can be different fir many reasons. Here are some 2 discuss with the Dr who ordered them. NSR means normal sinus rhythm here but not sure there. Ask why at age 32u r getting them every year if healthy? 1. How the electrical leads are connected each time-esp the ones that go on the chest. 2. Meds or eating or drinking 3. The EKG machine itself can be different 4. Exercise and heart rate.
