Female (67), fibromyalgia for 25 years. in the past weeks strong pain in both lower legs and feet with weakness, stiffness and numbness (also resting). what could cause that? what specialist to contact, orthopaedics/neurologist/vascular/etc?

Since my initial thoughts are to consider a potential peripheral neuropathy, a lumbar spine disorder such as cauda equina syndrome or lumbar stenosis, and even potential vascular insufficiency, would start with your primary doctor and discuss perhaps a neurological consultation.
