Is a saffron supplement safe to use with ocuvite 50. i've recently been diagnosed with wet macular degeration and have been taking ocuvite for many years for the dry version. i would like to add a saffron supplement but need to know if its safe?

Saffron can be used as an antioxidant supplement but Occuvite 50 also contains antioxidants so I am not sure if this supplement will give you any extra-benefit for your eye condition. There is no way to check for the interaction so I would not favor its use. Take care.
