How exactly does the body reabsorb sperm? they just go back in your body? i also read they are broken down and reabsorbed to make new ones?

Sperm in the testicles are immature, they mature in the epididymis. Once a man is sexually stimulated, the sperm move to the vas deferens where they mix with seminal fluid in preparation for ejaculation. If ejaculation does not occur, the sperm die within several days and begin to break down due to enzymes. Macrophages produced by the immune system will remove the particulate matter within 2 weeks
