I have a sperm cyst and my doctor said its 4mm and he said it should go away on its own because the body will reabsorb the fluid. is that true?

Wait and see...: I assumed you got scrotal US for local ache showing a 4-mm cyst-probably spermatocele, which is benign & harmless, and may slowly grow in size, but does not need care unless symptomatic. Of course, it is hard to give right answer without a detailed history + direct palpation.
