I have a pelvis ultrasound to be completed with doppler but on the referral the doctor put abdominal approach so i am kinda trying to figure out that means?

It simply means that the ultrasound transducer will be put on your abdomen instead of internally through your vagina. Each of the approaches has advantages and disadvantages, and Which approach is recommended depends on what kind of results the doctor is looking for.
