Vaginal spotting or bleeding occurs in 25% of pregnancies in the 1st trimester (up to 13 wks gestation). The incidence of bleeding in the 2nd trimester (14-27 wks gestation) is only 1-2%. Please see your OB/GYN ASAP for further evaluation.
