Pregnant ?: If your periods are usually regular, and pregnancy is possible, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain, b/c the hormone produced in a pregnancy outside the uterus (ectopic) is not enough to cause a positive in a home test, but will be detected by an HCG test. If negative, see your gyn provider for an exam and other testing.
