How was this discovered? Was it from a stress test? If so, even without symptoms, the cardiologist may recommend a cardiac catherization to define if there are lesions in your coronary arteries, how severe they are, whether a stent is needed, etc. A procedure like that can prevent you from having a heart attack. So, you should follow the advice of your cardiologist who knows you best. Good luck!
