It depends on the history of the fish. Where was it caught, how was it prepared, where was it stored before preparation. If this was a fish caught by a non professional, processed incorrectly, stored at suboptimal temperatures, you could have food poisoning which is caused by bacteria buildup in the fish. Watch for diarrhea, blood in stool and vomiting over the first 72 hours. See an in person Dr.

Aside from possible problems caused by an infection, your main problem remains uncontrolled ingestion/swallowing of different objects (pica spectrum) which has to be discussed with your doc and treated properly.
