Frequency and foamy urine are not the urinary symptoms of multiple myeloma and renal amyloidosis. Unfortunately, there is no typical urinary symptom of this condition. The presence of heavy protein in urine is one sign (not symptom) but not typical of MM or renal amyloidosis because many other kidney diseases also cause heavy proteinuria. MM and renal amyloidosis always affect both kidneys.
