My friend was having lower back and stomach pain (back was worse), her smelling was enhanced, she started spotting then the next day she went pee and a big blood clot (assumed) came out. what could be the reason? all symptoms are gone now?

Is it possible she was pregnant at that time? If possible, a pregnancy test is still positive within the first week of spontaneous miscarriage. The big blood clot (?) was likely from the genital tract rather from the urinary tract. Take care.
