I had chlamydia in my throat. i dont think my partner (female) ever had it. as i never had in penis just throat. we both took 7 days doxycycline, wait then had sex. i thought we were past this. i retested recently and still have in my throat! wtf?

Clarification of confusion: Chlamydia pneumoniae infection results in pharyngitis (throat infection), sinusitis, and pneumonia. Transmission of this organism is predominantly by the airborne route. Genitourinary infections are caused by Chlamydia trachomatis.
