Chlamydia treatment: Azithromycin fails to cure about one in 20 chlamydia cases. Your infection probably wasn't cured and your partner reinfected from you. You both need treatment again, this time with doxycycline. Don't wait until October 14: you're at risk of serious complications, like PID. Tell your doctor you need to be seen right away, or visit urgent care. Don't accept azithro this time, only doxy. Good luck.
