7 months ago, i was wearing a shoe w/ the tongue tucked in for a week. foot became swollen. foot and ankle are still swollen but not much. do you think i have nerve or soft tissue damage?

Unlikely: But the only way to be sure is to see an orthopedic surgeon, or a podiatrist and have the foot examined.

Nerve: It is very likely that you placed excessive pressure on a nerve that crosses over that area. If it continues to bother get it checked.

Swelling: Sometimes the tendon is injured for this sort of pressure and usualyy self limits/resolves. Further pain or swelling indicates an exam by a podiatrist.
