Absolutely you should be concerned, cancer detected and treated in the first 6 months has an over 80% survival rate, oral cancer detected after 6 months has an 80% mortality rate. These are significant statistical differences. Please go and get checked immediately, and try to stop the habit.

Chewing tobacco leads to oral cancer over time. The tobacco contains carcinogenic compounds that will cause oral cancer. The patches are asymptomatic but need to be biopsied immediately to rule out oral cancer. Chew sugarless gum instead.
