If you have stopped your Ativan, you should do fine. The mix of a narcotic and a sedative/ tranquilizer is considered a RED FLAG in several states due to the risk of nocturnal apnea. Discuss this situation with your doctor, and make certain that you and the physician have signed a narcotic drug contract to prevent any misunderstandings, if this is to be a chronic treatment program.
