A member asked:

What is the difference on an ultrasound between echogenic and hypoechogenic? thx?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

translation= Echogenic indicates a site under study reflects back an echo Hypogenic= means the site reflects back a less intense echo An example would be that a steel wall would reflect back more of an echo than a group of (hypoechogenic) standing grass.
