A member asked:

Would a ct aniogram of the neck show problems with your thyroid/cancer? or would you need just a normal ct?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

you should provide us with more detailed medical history about your Thyroid problem. If you have an enlargement or your doctor can feel a mass in your thyroid gland, it should be verified with an Ultrasound test which is the best test for checking the nature of the Thyroid mass. CT scan is rarely more useful than an ultrasound test. You certainly do not need a CT angiogram.
