Short term memory issues like- Forgetting where One left their Car Key - is not unusual as people get older. Mostly it is Distraction and Inattentiveness resultant from the Stress of Life and immediate challenges. Menopause may exacerbate them. But true Forgetfulness and Memory challenges need attention and the PCP or Anti-Aging Physician is where to start.
