Trans people don't accept the designation of the gender they are born with as verified by genetic testing. They choose to live as the sex they want to be. Intersex people may have sexual organs of more than one gender, usually from a congenital malformation/error in formation during pregnancy.

The terminologies have been confused and misunderstood. Generally- a person with a particular maleor female sex apparatus identifies as being of the opposite one is transgender. Anyone born with conflicting extenal and internal sex organs is considered inter sex- and there are many variations of this.
