The only way to know if the dose will be enough is to start the dose and monitor the blood pressure. If you have a home blood pressure monitor, the blood pressure could be checked throughout the day to see how low it goes. If the blood pressure is still to high, the dose could then be increased. You can let your doctor know your home blood pressure readings so that dose adjustments can be made.
