A small left ventricle is not a significant issue unless due to hypertrophy (thickening) of the left ventricular walls. More important are the left ventricular ejection fraction, left ventricular septal and posterior wall thickness, diastolic compliance, right ventricular function, right and left atrial size, the respiratory variation of the inferior vena cava size, and your 4 valves' function.
