Avoid caffeine and don't lay down for at least an hour or so after eating. Avoid acidic foods and carbonated beverages. The antacid tablets are okay during pregnancy.

Heartburn is quite natural during pregnancy. You have a large mass pushing against your stomach as you are pregnant. You should follow anti-reflux precautions that you can find online. You can use antacids such as Mylanta or Tums during pregnancy. If you need more than that, talk to your obstetrician about which medicines they wish you to take. Good luck.
