Had a small filling 1y ago.started to hurt when i chewed after. this passed but started to feel small pain in my jaw bone. this got worse in dec. and got antibiotics and pain went away.its slightly back and nothing to see in x-ray/cbct. been 1 year?

Are you certain the discomfort is coming from the tooth? What happens with the old fashioned technique of gently tapping that tooth with a spoon? The xray & cone beamed CT are very reassuring about serious dental or jaw pathology. You may wish to obtain an opinion from a specialist in oral surgery at the department of oral surgery at a university hospital or dental school near you.

Has the tooth been tested for vitality? Radiographs cannot detect if a tooth has become nectrotic. See an endodontist.
