In last month and a half or so today is 3rd time that i had dark eye floaters that suddenly appear and go away after about 15-20 minutes or so. could this be a sign of something serious?

Are eye floaters generally a signal of a serious eye problem? Do they go away after some time? Do they cause harm? Recently seeing more than usual.
A couple times this past week Ive had eye floaters (like visual migraines), as well as a curtain of darkness (bottom half my left eye) that lasted about 30 seconds. Ive also had a shoulder pain, low BP and a sinus infection this week. Ideas?
