I have pain in both of my shins and tops of both my feet from walking a long day at the mall. how do i help them feel better? never have had shin pains before from walking a long amount of time?

I would start with making sure your footwear is appropriate for the task. Stretching exercises are good preparations & good warmup for walking on hard surfaces. Try not to walk through the pain though.

The type of shoe can make a big difference. If you were wearing a shoe with little support , excessive pronation can cause these symptoms. If problem and discomfort persist see a sports medicine podiatrist Exercise can help but not always.
