Is it normal to have pain in hips and legs some time within a week after a period? is it connected to period or daily living?

It is difficult to know for sure if hip pain is related to a period or not but since leg pain is unlikely to be related to the period, the hip pain is likely related to whatever is causing the leg pain. If this pain continues, you should see your doctor to find out the etiology of the pain so a treatment can be given. You would need to be examined to find out the diagnosis. Good luck to you!

If there's associated significant lower abdomen cramping & low back pain along with hip and thigh discomfort, there may be an association with a recent period and it's referred to as secondary dysmenorrhea. This would tend to be a monthly issue. However, endometriosis would also be a possible cause. Your gynecologist can advise you best.
