A member asked:

I just tested positive for covid for my second time. first time i had covid was 5 months ago. rest of family is negative. is there a chance they will not get it? we are vaccinated from the original vaccine and one booster?

The past few years have shown us many get covid and never have symptoms. The vaccines don't prevent it but likely reduce severity in those over 60. Any vaccine or past infection produces limited immunity to newer strains. I don't worry about it for the under 50 crowd unless they have risk factors. Vaccines themselves may pose risk to some patients. Hindsight is 20/20.
