A member asked:

I stopped taking my welbutrin about 3 months ago, but now finals are next week and i've already had 2 panics...what should i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See a doctor: Welbutrin is a treatment for depression, but doesn't do anything for anxious symptoms like panic attacks. Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (ssris) like Celexa and zoloft (sertraline) are effective for panic disorder and generalized anxiety, but they take 2-3 works to begin working, and 4-6 weeks for full effectiveness.
