Bad combination: Wellbutrin (bupropion) is a good antidepressant medication but its usually avoided if the person has anxiety associated with depression as wellbutrin (bupropion) can in of itself increase anxiety. Ativan can help you with anxiety attacks temporarily. Please ask your psychiatrist to try you on ssri medication for depression and anxiety. Ssris are usually avoided if you have or have a family history of bipolar/mania.
