My insurance has capped the number of pt appts i'm allowed at 25 per year. am almost maxed out, but still a long way from recovering from flexor tendon surgery & can't afford to pay for extra sessions. can i still make progress doing pt at home?

Do commiserate with you, as I think that insurance limitations are often totally inappropriate! Have your physical therapist provide exercises and maneuvers to allow you to independently make progress. Many clinics will provide handouts of exercises and procedures to use at home. Just in case, have the clinic do a formal insurance appeal (may work?).
