My doctor prescribe me miralax and stool softeners to take everyday is it safe to take long-term? is it safe to take with psych meds do i have to take it couple hours apart? i take it all together?

Miralax is just a material that binds to water and doesn't let the colon extract it while it travels through your gut. That makes the rest of the nearby stool remain moist, allowing your stools to soften & be easier to expel. It has a negligible effect on other meds/vitamins but as a rule I separate the time taken to spread them out. I've prescribed it for a year in a complex situation & it did ok
