A member asked:

Using bilocor5mg and amlodipine10mg for 2 years. both echodiagram/ecg before. everything shows well, except that i have a narrow heart valve that regurgitates blood. current rhr between 50&56. at times 47. something to worry about? i'm fairly active?

The beta blocker component of bilocor slows the heart rate. Your resting heart rate is low & 47 is quite low. Does your heart rate appropriately increase with physical activity? If not & if you're experiencing fatigue, reducing the bisoprolol to ,2.5 mgs could be tried. If your aortic valve is stenotic, too low a heart rate and/or BP could be problematic. I assume you're followed by a cardiologist
