I accidentally took 800 mg of magnesium glycinate in 24 hours is that safe or too much should i go to emergency room? took 400mg at 8am and 400mg more at midnight. i heard too much can cause heart issues?

It all depends on your kidney function. If you have normal kidney function, your kidneys should clear whatever is not needed. If you don’t have normal kidney function, you probably need to check a magnesium level. Call your doctor if you begin to feel ill or if you are not sure about your kidney function. Good luck!
