Im asthmatic. my heart has been beating for hours almost everyday. for about 6 weeks, ive been having chest pain and shortness of breath. i take my inhaler, but my heart has only racing more and my chest is only worsening. what else may the problem?

Your inhaler is likely a bronchodilator with a side effect of increased heart rate. Your heart rate will also increase if you are having breathing difficulties. You should see a pulmonologist to review your inhalers and prescribe the best regimen with the least side effects. If your shortness of breath is worsening, go to the nearest emergency room.
