Ruptured ear drum: No. Most ruptured tympanic membranes (ear drum) heal spontaneously with the exception of those due to welding slag burns. I would recommend that you get it reassessed to assure that it has healed, however this is not urgent. Popping and cracking can occur with this recovery depending on the cause.
