I have been taking doxycycline now for a few weeks i have not got my period it is 8 days late i had spotting 3 days but ive taken pregnancy tests and theyre negative i took one 2 days ago negative and a week ago negative can doxycycline cause this?

Irregular cycle is not a known side effect of this antibiotic by PDR.NET and DRUGS.COM. If you take this antibiotic for acne, your delayed period is likely not due to doxycycline. However, if you take it for something else then that condition could be the culprit, not the antibiotic. Stress is a common cause of irregular cycle. Good luck!
