I had very bad side effects on metoprolol 25 mg (headaches, nightmares, blurred vision). is it likely i will feel the same way on propanolol 10 mg?

Suspect that you will have even worse side effects from propranolol, and some potential problems would include: a slow pulse, blood pressure drop, headaches, exercise intolerance, depression, wheezing, fatigue, etc. Get a second opinion.
