If pregnancy is possible, obtain a "home" pregnancy test and see your GYN physician if the test is negative for an exam and other testing for guidance.

Your last cycle was longer (37 days) so it is possible that this one will be also and you may not get it for another week (you are only day 31 at the moment) assuming you are not pregnant. A 3 or 4 day period is not unusual even if that is not what you are used to. If your cycles are changing, becoming less regular and less predictable, then a checkup would be indicated.
