Interestingly strong emotions can trigger adrenaline to be released in your body and this can cause your body to shake. Excitement causes adrenaline release possibly when you think intensely about something it can also be released. There are medical conditions where too much adrenaline is released in the body with adrenal gland problems. Best to be assessed by your physician.

A neurological assessment can be entertained with symptoms that you are having. If someone can videotape these spells prior, that would be very helpful. Also, history should include whether or not consciousness is lost or impaired during the episodes, if there is loss of control of bowel or bladder function, and whether shaking is initiated on one side of the body and moves to the whole body.
