I had a mucocele removal a week and a half ago and i still feel numbness in my left sid of the lower lip which the mucocele was in . is that normal?

Paresthesia can occur even with minor surgeries. This usually resolves on its own, but you should call and discuss this with your treating surgeon.

In removing the mucocele, there might have been some neural damage. I would wait a little longer and see if numbness subsides. You might need a little more time before the healing process is complete.
