You should not mix Ativan with hydroxyzine because both can cause sedation with respiratory depression. You could fall asleep and have your breathing slow down significantly which can lead to low oxygen levels. Everyone metabolizes medicine differently so if you took one of these medicines today, I would not take the other one tonight since low oxygen levels during sleep can be life-threatening.
