Too much acid in your colon can result in diarrhea and watery stool. If this is your case, see a gastroenterologist for exam and treatment.

A test for bile acids is most useful in determining the cause of yellow jaundice or unexplained diarrhea. If you do not have either of those problems, then this test is meaningless. If you have questions, contact your doctor or a gastroenterologist. Good luck.
