A member asked:

What is the definition or description of: bile acids?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

They digest fats: Bile acids are made in the liver and stored in the gall bladder. When you ingest a fatty meal, bile acids are released into the intestine to help digest fats and they are necessary for the absorption of certain fat soluble vitamins such as a, d, e and k.
