A member asked:

Are there distinct and separate testing requirements for pet brain scans, or is it a "one size fits all" situation where a single pet scan is used to test all neurological conditions?

This is an extremely expensive test, which will not be covered by insurance unless specific indications are followed and pre-authorization is obtained. In NO way should this be used to test "all neurological conditions".
