A member asked:

Are there any doctors who still prescribe diet pills or appetite suppressants? i've tried everything and i'm desperate?

There are always some on the market. The prescriptive patterns of various docs differ with their level of training and experience. Call your doc and see if they do or if they know someone in the area you could consult with.

A regional weight loss center will include the possibility of prescribed appetite suppressants. Your frustration is justified, it is almost impossible to make lifestyle changes, specifically diet and exercise in the current circumstances. A pill is never the solution unfortunately, might help for a limited amount of time.

Taking pills is not the answer for everything, your strong mental desire to lose weight is what will cause you to do so. Eat healthy, buy the diet meals that are advertised, exercise, find a hobby, drink a lot of water and seek a weight loss therapist. Pills are not the answer, a strong desire is.
